# Introducing Xia One

**Introduction:** Xia One is a free-to-play RPG game about exploration, Karma, and close-quarter combat. Play as one of the 7,777 Xia with unique talents, classes, and skills. Only Xia One NFT holders can farm ERC-20 token $KARMA from the game.

## Story setting

The story sets in a fictional era of feudal China, where the royals were in turmoil. The crown prince was displaced, the rebellious clans and barbarians were eyeing the kingdom, and there were droughts in the north and floods in the south. 

Vigilantes, aka **Xia**, cannot simply stand by and watch. They stood up to help the poor and the weak, to save or bend the world with their martial skills.

## **The Basics**

#### **Spiritual Beings**

Players are spiritual beings that can reincarnate into different forms of life that are **\[Immortal, Xia, Civilian, Beast, Plant, Element]** in the wheel of Karma. 

Commonly players reincarnate into **\[Beast, Plant, Element]**, rarely into **\[Xia, Civilian]**, and super rarely into **\[Immortal]**. 

If the player holds a Xia One NFT, they'll reincarnate into **\[Xia]** without any restrictions. Of course, they'll get the chance to relive other life forms. 

Non-NFT holders can reincarnate into a Xia by accumulating massive Karma throughout the gameplay.

#### **Rules of the World**

The world is stuck in a time loop and all living creatures will relive and reincarnate over and over until the **"Grand Mission"** is accomplished. 

Death is permanent in Xia's world. Everything Xia does is measured and accounted for in Karma, and only Karma travels through life.

#### **Mission**

Time will move forward until the Mission **(defeating a boss)** is accomplished. The ultimate goal of Xia is to beat the Boss in Legendary mode to embark on the next venture!

#### **Challenges**

Battles and events hinder you from moving forward. Only the best geared & trained Xia can accomplish the **"Grand Mission"** and earn the greatest reward in Karma.
